‣ THE STORY BEHIND MEDOCLOCK
The idea for MedOClock came to me when I went to visit my father who is suffering from Parkinson’s disease. His list of medication is long and is often readjusted by doctors. Its crucial that he takes his medication at specific times of the day and his wife used to carry a large notebook with all the information about his medication in the drawer of his bedside table.
One day we went together to visit his dentist who asked if his medication has changed since the last visit. Having forgotten the notebook at home, we were not able to provide accurate information which is very important for proper treatments.
That’s when the idea for MedOClock emerged. I wanted to make a simple mobile application that would eliminate the need for my fathers large notebook and would also help caregivers and different health professionals keep track of complicated medical list. We also added the simple function of recurring reminders so that a person would never again forget to take the right medication at the right time.

I applied to receive this app free for review purpose. I actually got the free version available to anyone. Because I dont have access to the full app I dont feel like I can give an accurate review. It seems like it "may" be a decent app but the free version is pretty limited. One user profile and only 2 meds for that user. I had a med change during my "review" period and the free version would not allow me to make the change. I had to delete the app and re-install to do it
This app is not intuitive at all. As a 36 year old RN I had troubles navigating through it let alone my 75 year old grand parents.

I have Multiple Sclerosis and I wanted an app that allowed me to input all my medications, appointments, doctors and notes. Well, MedoClock does this and more.
Its an easy app to understand. The lite version is great but to be able to get the full benefit of this app I recommend to upgrade to the full version. Its definitely worth it and its at a great inexpensive price too!!
With this app Ill never forget a doctors appointment or have to remember what medications Im on as I entered all in the app!! And it even gives you a spot to enter emergency contacts!! This app has it all!

I have many health conditions and this is a life saver. I take a lot of pills and have quite a lot of ,dr. appts to keep up on. It is easy to use. And the reminders are great. This is perfect for people with health issues.
